When we were earlier in our phase of evolution and our brain was forming, we were shaped very much by the experience that we faced at that time. The modern world of the hazards ar are far more diverse. Many of them are invisible, like things that have to do with bacteria, viruses and things that we can't easily see. So, ta, the modern world has a whole different array of hazards from the ancient world.
