Casturba and Gondy's Dilemma
In 19 29, gondy called his wife a thief in front of the entire oshram because she had essentially kept 50 cents in her pocket overnight by mistake. The family had recently endured a massive scandal in which their nephew was found to have embezzled thousands of dollars from the movement. Among the things gandy renounced that casturba was then expected to give up were wealth comfort, food, attachment to her children, o and sex. In fact, this is exactly what caused the relationship to end.
