The Benefits of Potential Flow Theory for Wind Turbines

In the wind farm, rather in the fish school, you might say the optimization is trying to minimize the drag that that group of fish is going to see as it's moving through the water or minimize the energy expended by all of those fishes they swim. In the case of the wind turbines, once I have the representation mathematically of one of those wind turbines, I can optimize an entire farm of a thousand or if I wanted to 10,000 wind turbines without having to develop any new math really. It's a really convenient way to represent these systems.
