People with BPD have trouble remembering someone's love and connection when the person is not there or when they can't feel it because of this they cannot be confident that a person cares about them. They are able to walk away remarkably easily in some cases. People with BPD tend to put everyone into the same category rather than evaluate them individually. It is very hard to change their perception of you because essentially they had it before they ever met you. The past often seems impossibly distant to them and emotional connection with others is lost very easily.
