Is It a Thief on the Cross, or a Thief to Day?

When the thief on the cross was dying, jesus said to him, after he had accepted him, to day thou shalt be with me in paradise. The only way to get around this is to re punctuate as seventh day advents have tended to do,. But of course, that repunctuation is a a very poor idea i mean, jesu's hardly saying, on the cross to the to thet a thief, i'm not talking to you yesterday. I'm talking to you to morrow. And by the way, you're going to be with us in paradise. That that surely is not the meaning of it. A nunbeliever would be in hell
