Class Action Lawsuits Are More Efficient Than Individual Joinder

Not everyone can file a class action, and not every case is appropriate. Who qualifies? A person is allowed to sue on behalf of a class. When there is one numerosity, class is so numerous that individual joinder is impracticable. Commonality, questions of law or fact are common to the class. The claims and defences of representative parties are typical of the class. And for adequacy of representation, the representative parties will fairly and adequately protect the interests of theclass.
