Is the Indus Valley Civilization Egalitarian and Non Violent?

There are plenty of evidences of uses of bronze weapons in the Indus Valley. It's just that our historians have never bothered to do this because they are busy doing something else. There are almost no examples of non violent societies. Almost all societies in the archaeological record are known to be violent. So then you ask yourself, what are the characteristics of a violent society?
