Public Religion in Australia in 2022?
I wonder whether we convince the majority of non-Christians or ambivalent Christians, let alone the Muslims and Buddhists and Hindus. There's not a multicultural religious vision here. There's really only one religion. The less detail you're going to in public, isn't that necessary to accommodate Presbyterians and Baptists? I mean, don't we quickly run into a war where the specificity starts to get in the way and the Christian division and the theological questions? And again, don't you run up against a barrier of getting in our case the majority ofnon-Christians to accept this?
