The Number One Requested Novel
I first found out about you because my mother is in this short story writing club, or not club, I guess she's in a group and they had invited you to speak. And I remember being so nervous for that conversation because it was conducted in Persian. For the most part, I think if my memory serves correctly, I did speak Persian... But we scheduled to talk in early September that my daughter was being born that time. She said Kimiya, who leads the group, said that it was the number one requested novel. The discussions that we had were like therapy. They were just crying, telling about their families, their parents, their stories.
