The Conversion of Edwards
Jonathan Edwards wrote two works on the history of Northampton's revival. He says there must have been many spurious conversions and much false religion, which at the time were regarded as genuine. But where were the three hundred members who medwards regarded as savantly brought home to Christ? That's a quote from an narrative of many surprising conversions. The vast majority of the members of the church had been brought in by Edwards himself. In of their conversion, he considered himself as having sufficient evidence.
