Is There a Catch 22 to Solar Radiation Management?

There are certain pollutants that we're putting into the atmosphere that cause warming. There are others that increase the reflectivity and therefore provide a cooling effect. The ones that cause warming stay in the atmosphere for a long time, while those that cause cooling drop out pretty quick. So if we were just to stop all emissions, we wouldn't get the benefit of those pollutants that are causing the cooling effect. We would continue having all that warming without the offset from the cooling that we've been benefiting from.
