The Role of Bias in Systems Design

We are having a starting point conversation around the theme of mapping and to think about systems in order to spot opportunities for change. Many systems are designed for the purpose to benefit society, but it is critical that we also acknowledge that systems can lead to harm too, such as oppression. So today, mel and i are going to talk broadly about a variety of systems, including examples in health care. And we'll actually start there a sustainable products and cities.
