The Messianic Mission of the Church
The name of Jesus has gone round the world and back again. The mission of the church is the Messianic mission, which is foretold in Israel's scriptures. And okay, we've still got a lot of mess and trouble and the church is still far from the lovely society it ought to be. But I'm fascinated at the end of the world. So much of what we take for granted comes ultimately from a Christian imperative.
