The Seven Plagues

Miriam plants the seed in Pharaoh's head that, hey, I know a Hebrew woman that can nurse this little boy if you want him. Moses ends up murdering a slave driver of the Egyptians and flees into the wilderness. So even Moses in his adult years is still facing and watching the oppression of his people. The same feeling of trauma, the same muscle memory that they experienced from the history is now chasing them from behind.
