How Does the Church Leadership Get Paid?
In theory, the church has lay leadership from the lowliest econ to the president. In practical terms, this means no one is getting paid,. except the church hierarchy does appear to be well taken care of. The operating theory being that these are such, you know, wise men, why if the church didn't have a claim on their time, they would sortly be on boards of directors for other companies. But either way, there's a church living allowance. For the rank of seventies, and especially the apostles and the president of the church, this living allowance is a hundred and 20 thousand dollars a year.
