The Supreme Court's Take on Qualified Immunity
The Supreme Court has held that in essence, two things. If we allowed people to hold prosecutors accountable through the civil liability system for doing things like that, then nobody would want to be a prosecutor and they would all quit. The court seems to be sequencing about a half a dozen high quality qualified immunity cert petitions. That's the motion or the brief you file in the Supreme Court asking them to take your case because they have a discretionary docket.
