There's a net work of brain regions called the defaultmo network, and we'll unpack why it's called that in a second. It's activated when we worry about things, when we feel guilty,. When we feel a craving - basically when we are not happy with what is going on right now or trying to change something based on past or future. About 50 % of waking life doing things like that. Research showing that it's about forty, seven percent of the day that were, you know, we're lost in the past, were thinking about the future.
