The Importance of Communication in a Contract Job

I feel like I work at contract jobs has probably been one of the biggest blessings that I've ever fallen into. The only cons to working with an agency is lack of job security. You should be selling yourself, even if it's not salesy,. sell yourself, you should be explaining why you believe that you will be as impactful compared to the next candidate. Don't tell them exactly what you were making in your last role? Ask what's the budget? And since then, I have always been undersold as far as what I got from a compensation standpoint.
