Jung called it totalitarian psychosis. Watico is an inner disease of the soul that actually reveals itself and plays itself out via the medium of the outside world. It colonizes the psyche and hijacks the executive function. Jung: Think about what's playing out in the world with all the fascism and totalitarian forces that are taking over our planet. The person so taken over the regulatory agencies, the self-monitoring system of the psyche, get captured by the very invaders they're supposed to be monitoring.
