My mum is the most untraditional person you'll ever meet. She started out as a book publisher, a text book publisher for w w norton. Her whole philosophy with parenting was to create the most resilient and independent children that she could. For me, it just ended up being that home schooling allowed me the flexibility to pursue a career in something that i was very interested in at a young age. It's not a lot of people have the opportunity to do that.
