The Secrets of Revolver
The Beatles started using this technique on the album Revolver in 1966. In 1967, which was the summer of love, they released Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club and a magical mystery tour. It is my personal theory that when these records were released, they effectively enchanted the airwaves with the initiations of a depthus exemptis. The cover of sergeant pepper, of course, includes a cardboard cut out of Alster Crowley. And it also includes a big palm tree over top of a person named Leo.
