The Role of Europe in the Rise of AI
While the war in Ukraine has boosted European defense budgets, it will probably be American companies like Peter Theos Palantir that will get the most of the new AI related funds. At this point, it's Europe's privacy laws, nonactive public policy that prevents US giants from advancing even further and faster. And Mars office talked at LinkedIn also in other talks and essays about how Europe did have an opportunity to try to,. you know, Europe would talk, there's appeared with Europe to talk about technological sovereignty, right? But what that often looked like is like some basic suite of privacy laws, social welfare laws, and like some autonomy on financing for certain technologies.
