Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the Future of Cryptocurrencies

The S&P ASX 200 closed down 1.3% on Friday to just under 7100 points. Other underperformers included UK based Virgin Money, which tumbled 4%. Gold Road Resources was off 5% following a production downgrade earlier in the week. Bitcoin had one of its strongest weeks of the year last year helped by speculation that proposed exchange traded funds heralds a whole new source of demand for the largest digital asset.
