The Role of Rhetoric in Preaching

As the office becomes more public, there are principles of using force of persuasion or some aspects of rhetoric that begin to come into use. You can see it between Peter's sermon and the sermon of the book of Hebrews in the use of the word pictures. We're preaching to a particular audience and their particular orientation. But you can observe in different audiences that we're preaching in different ways.
