In person learning leads to such a sort of exponential curve and rapid uptake that you don't necessarily get through a virtual mentorship. We pick up on so many signals from body language to tone of voice that we lose some of them even in zoom. A good teacher knows how to communicate in a myriad of like subtle ways with cues, just like a good sports coach does.
