I think the element of didacticism is genuinely really annoying I think that the LCGills begins more whoever it is. There's a lot of hideously awful Christian literature and you also get Philip Pullman's his dark materials trilogy which is imaginatively very rich but veers off towards the end into pure rant, he says. He thinks there are two kind of voices to be considered when thinking about a story: one from the author whose voice may say best what's to be said anyway. We can't just tell a story with just the man's voice because we don't have any values at all in our own lives so why not use them both? It doesn't matter how good
