Is There Any Kind of Free Will?
Most of us think we've got free will. Why would anybody believe that we don't? The historical debate had surrounded the problem in terms of determinism. So if every agent is causally determined by antecedent conditions to do what they do, a concern was our agents free in acontext. And if they don't have that kind of freedom, it seems odd that one would punish them.
