Learning From Video Games in an Online Course?
I was really curious to hear examples and maybe there's separate examples for online versus in person. But one of the first things I do is give the students some choices as to what they're learning. And that actually forces me to keep my content more modular because if I don't know the order in which I'm going to teach it, I can't do those highly coupled links to earlier content. If you come to us, you go find something you want to learn, put it into the list of topics and you can pitch it to the class to say, hey, we should cover this.
