The Importance of Confidence

Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 6 that we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord. This is where we get this phrase, away from the body, at home with the Lord. And what Paul is writing about here is our person, our spirit, our soul, our consciousness, our essence. In death, your consciousness, your essence, your spirit, you,. not the flesh that carries you, but you as a believer in Jesus, are seamlessly now away from theBody and present with theLord. That's what happens to you when you die.
