Is There a Hormone That Is Not a Natural State That Correct?
In an o b mouse, you don't make the hormon lepton, so the brain thinks you don't have any fat. And in the d b mouse, it doesn't receive the signal from the perfectly adequate amounts of lepten,. So that the animal, again, thinks that it's starving. Are there human conditions that mimic the o b and d b condition of the mice? Yes, there are. Theyare a handful of humans who have mutations of the ob gen and are obese but they can be cured by giving lepton. There is no effective intervention for those people at this time; drugs being developed to rectify their actions.
