Chlorofluorocarbons: A Rare Positive Successful Human Adaptation
The discovery of chlorofluorocarbon damage to the ozone layer made locally, it was made at UC Irvine. Nobel Prize winners were, were both atUC Irvine. That was a rare positive successful human adaptation against the profit motive. So now we're not emitting all of the ozone depleting gases that we used to because of these regulations. But some of the, we can still measure the presence of them in the atmosphere and they aren't going down as fast as they should.
