Prosecraft was a website that used AI to analyze thousands of novels without authors consent. Benji Smith, the founder and former CEO of Prosecraft says he's sorry for taking down the site but it wasn't in compliance with copyright laws at the time. The backlash from writers led him to shut his company down.
