How Much Damage Did the Wild Fires Cause?

Scientists have discovered that the fires actually blasted out so much smoke that some of it broke into the strato sphere and damaged the ozone layer. It depleted levels of ozone over the middle section of the southern hemisphere, where australia is by about 13 per centandye. Fortunately, the ozone levels dipped for about nine months, and then now they've gone back to normal. But there is concern that because climate change is expected to make these, ou know, massive wild fire more frequent, that we're just going to get more and more assaults on the ozone layer which we obviously need to protect us from ultra violet radiation.
