Dominant or Submissive?
There's two different types of tonality in your voice that coe across, and there's dominant and submissive. So dominant is the most confident. And a lot of people get this confused, right? They think of dominant is like screaming, yelling, being dochbag,. But really, dominance doesn't have anything to do with volume, necessarily. It's more in your pitch. So it's speaking at a lower pitch. And also it's your cadence, right? When we tend to not know what we want to say or feel in confident in certain situations, our pitch rises and we talk fast.
