Are These Young Men Engaging in Terrorism Disaffected?

The man who attacked rushty was not raised in a religious household. He visited his father at age 18 in lebanon, and his mother reports that he came back with darker views of women after that visit to his home country. I think it's worth point out that often these attacks are done by people who are not well catechised or deeply initiated into any particular religious community. So if we continue to heap scorn on people who are already disaffected wer for now, which is producing great results, we'll just keep pursuing the liberal course.
