"You are not efficiently monetizing movies or television shows if you make them and let them sit on a single service for 20 years," he says. "Over the life of the movie or show, it will do much better if you allow it to move around ... I would push very hard to go back to that." He adds: "When you lower the cost of what you're doing, it's creatively, infinitely better because you can take risks"
