Is the Church a Diocese?
The diocese is this living reality in which the one holy Catholic and apostolic church is present and operative. The idea of a particular church is so important because it's linked to the very concept of who we are as the people of God. We find a proper place within our diocese, within our church as members of a family. This isn't something light or administrative or an idle construct; it has not just function, but intention behind it.
