The Struggle to Make a New Language
This is very much a book about bodies, about inhabiting a body. Elsa is obsessed with Isadora Duncan because it's so hard to make a new language. She has been shielded by playing the great masters - Shum and Beethoven Bach Mozart. So how dare she have this composition inside her in comparison to the masters? That's part of the story. And I do enjoy trouble writing. It is something that gives me a lot of pleasure to read and to write.
