The Role of Gender in Family Dynamics
There are a lot of ways that this gender experience can either tear families apart which it does often or help families actually make some repairs and corrections. I've talked to a lot of people where there was another kid who was really difficult or really sick or something and then the kid comes out as trans and then gets gets to suck away some of the attention. Sometimes with the dead they're like this is a phase or you know it's fine as long as they stay rooted in some kind of objective truth but for the moms it's just harder to not feel your children's pain.
