The Pandemic: A Disruption in the Business Environment
As part of the pandemic, we got this grant funding and we distributed 3D printers to small and medium sized manufacturers in Oakland County. The executive function, if you will, please a very strong operational function and the decision making can be very quickly. I'll give you an anecdote. One of the companies that we had in our project diamond program was given three-piece printer. They started playing with it and they came up with one component which could have been made for $100.
