"My parents weren't around any more. They died in our car crash," she writes. "She thought that he had been injured, that there had been an accident somewhere,. but he was smiling at her with all that blood on him." She said her son was always finding things like that, dead animals, caps and bottles, old books, and bringing them home. He asked her to make something out of them.
