The Importance of Machine Ethics

The idea that we give a program and algorithms agency to make decisions. I'm going to try let's try and unpack those things because I imagine the people listening might have issue with either not knowing some of these terms or just disagreeing with you there. So what kinds of instances do we need machine ethics? Right so I mean the situation has what really fascinates me about this current narrative of AI is that AI has been with us since 1956 at least since there has been computers right. And the reason why nobody really talked about AI and ethics up until now was the way we programmed smart machines were supposed to be used by experts in a very controlled environment.
