meditation is the foundation for so much work that you do in personal development, healing, self knowledge. This idea of just sitting, watching your thoughts, bear witness and letting go is such an important muscle. I make myself aware of what is in the periphery coming out of the unconscious. And then I allow it to pass through, pass by because I am not my thoughts.
