i think there's quite a bit of research on wealth and equality, and i think there are very important measurement issues that need to be taken into account. For example, when we establish wealth and equalityes from researches here at the warden school, it matters a lot whether social security is is measured as part of the wealth of american households,. If you count it, then the increase in wealth and equality is really not that big at all. And particularly if you go to this wealth and equality data based by suckman and sas and so forth, you see this enormous decrease in it since 18 50.
