Elbow Room by Dennett Caruso by Sam Harris

If the police and the justice system fairly, transparently consistently applies rules, there's a better confidence in that system. And for sure, that's not totally true in a lot of places. Elbow Room by Dennett is a really great book. It's like 30 years old, but I still think it's great as a dismantle's deterministic threats. If one is looking for a good philosophical start, please try that one. Then perhaps Sam Harris is free will.
