Is the Global Energy System Getting Out of Hand?

This has been such a year of surprises, which I know sounds kind of fun off, but it's surprising on several levels. The other thing that surprised me is what happened with the oil market. You have the energy sector barely nudging back above 5% of the S&P 500. It's been amazing to see how that sector has not attracted the general investor in the way we might have expected even two through four years ago.
