The Irony of Relational Trust
I think one of the great ironies or again you know to use the phrase used a moment ago is that we have been dealing in a world of illogic and illusion presented as fact and logic. We have at least 50 years of very solid pedagogical research showing that if you don't take the students emotions seriously especially an emotion like fear you shut down the students capacity to think. I'm on a lifelong crusade to do exactly that it's the one thing I want to accomplish before where where where any right any kind of investment goes.
