Cassius Dio's Speech for Boudica
Cassius dio's speech at this time we've mentioned her appearance already but Cassius portrays Boudica in several different lights. She is focusing on some ideas that seem very Roman right how important is the value of freedom over slavery and this comes up in any other Roman speech. Also emphasizes again this idea of unity so she mentions we need to fight together as maybe kin's people for she says I regard you all as my kin's people since we all inhabit the same island. The Romans just make up this name the Britons, this isn't really a thing that Budica and the various peoples of Britain would have called themselves at this time.
