One of the libels on the overbury case was called, there was an old lad who rode on an old pad which is not polite. It was apparently set to the tune of, whoop, do me no harm, goodman. The thing is, people also like a bit of dirt to liven up their market and their visit there. And so a little bit of political stir ring might well get the crowd gathering around - especially if you were taking a pop at the high mighty or untouchable.
