The Search for Comfort
All organisms want comfort, whether it's no humans or interesting cause. Some of our comfort doesn't look comfortable because we're so individualized. So i might sacri ice something for my children that provides me comfort even though it's a sacrifice that sounds paradoxical. Giving money looks painful to people who don't have it, especially, but it actually provides comfort knowing that you're helping.
